Projects
Established in 1956, Indianapolis-based Community Health Network is a leading not-for-profit health system comprised of five hospitals and more than 70 care sites. In November 2004, they began a $170 million, 840,000 square foot expansion of Community Hospital North. In addition to a parking garage and medical office building, the expansion added a six-story tower housing a specialty women’s and children’s hospital with 60 singleroom maternity suites, the most of any hospital in the country. Designed by doctors, nurses and patients, the facility features all private rooms equipped for any level of care, so patients never have to change rooms.
