Community Support Systems Residence - Stevens Advantage

Community Support Systems in Teutopolis recently opened a new residence, with the help of Stevens Industries. The duplex will be shared by four residents who will be able to walk to work at their jobs at CSS next door. The project used Techline America cabinets with our StevensWood Legno colors and textures, Alno L05 and Lara L14. Stevens donated cabinets and installation.

CSS is a nonprofit operating out of Teutopolis and serving those with physical and developmental disabilities in Effingham and Richland counties. Their mission statement shares, “Community Support Systems is committed to securing for all people with disabilities the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play.”

The home was designed by Niebrugge Lumber Company and built by general contractor Tom Ungrund.

Our production team, project manager Phil Flach and install teams did an excellent job. The end result is a beautiful space the new residents will enjoy for years to come!
