Since its inception, the group has dedicated its resources to improving architectural woodwork industry standards through education and collaborative efforts by its members. AWI's Quality Certification Program

The Architectural Woodwork Institute Quality Certification Program (AWI QCP) has been available since 1995. This program has been recognized by architects, designers and specifiers as the authoritative source of guidance on fine architectural woodwork. It offers an increased level of consumer protection in architectural woodwork sections of construction documents and allows designers and specifiers to include a total quality management mechanism for woodwork in project documents.

Our high-quality laminated products have been engineered to meet stringent green standards. GREENGUARD Gold Certification (formerly known as GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification) maintains stringent certification criteria, considers safety factors to account for sensitive individuals (such as children and the elderly), and ensures that a product is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities. It is referenced by both The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Building Rating System. The Composite Panel Association (CPA) is the North American trade association for producers of particleboard (PB), medium density fiberboard (MDF), hardboard (HB) and other compatible products. It is dedicated to increasing the acceptance and use of composite panel products and educating users about their benefits. CPA represents the composite panel industry on technical, environmental, quality assurance and product acceptance issues. As an accredited standard developer for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), CPA sponsors and publishes industry product standards and participates in the standards development work of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and others.

International Solid Surface Fabricators Association
International Solid Surface Fabricators Association

Founded in February of 1997, the International Solid Surface Fabricators Association (ISSFA) is a not-for-profit trade association established to further the personal and professional interests of the solid surface fabricator. ISSFA associate members include distributors, manufacturers and affiliated professionals that provide tools, machinery, supplies and services to the solid surface industry; and allied industry professionals such as interior designers, architects, and specifiers.

Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) is the trade association for North American manufacturers of commercial builders hardware. Since its founding in 1925, BHMA has endeavored to promote the general development and welfare of the builders hardware industry and its member companies. BHMA currently authors 33 ANSI/BHMA standards in the builders hardware category, covering everything from hinges to locks to power doors. In addition, BHMA is involved in international standards, code and life safety regulations and other activities that specifically impact builders hardware.

Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is a national association of specifiers, architects, engineers, contractors, building materials suppliers and others involved in commercial and institutional building design and construction. The organization has 145 chapters and more than 16,000 members. CSI provides technical information and products, continuing education, professional conferences, and product shows to enhance communication among all disciplines of building design and construction, and to meet the industry's need for a common system of organizing and presenting construction information.

The Education Market Association (EDmarket), formerly known as the National School Supply and Equipment Association (NSSEA), is a not-for-profit international trade organization serving the school market. Founded in 1916, EDmarket promotes an open market for quality educational products and services that are produced and delivered by professional suppliers and dealers. Made up of over 1,400 member companies involved in the school market industry, EDmarket members actively lead the association and, through their leadership, have defined the role of the professional school marketer.
